CRIMINAL

LAW

Whether it is your first (and hopefully only) foray into the criminal justice system, or you are facing a minimum mandatory sentence because of your repeated involvement with the police, you need an experienced advocate to guide you through the process. As your advisor, Attorney O'Leary will guide you through the jungle of criminal law, zealously advocating for you and protecting your rights. He will take the steps with you, exploring all defenses and considering all possible resolutions up to and including trial.

Judge's Table

PERSONAL INJURY

Insurance companies have teams of attorneys whose primary focus is to minimize their financial exposure when you’re injured in a motor vehicle accident. I have represented insurance parties, their insureds, and claimants in tort claims throughout the Commonwealth. As your representative, Attorney O'Leary will never request payment to represent you in your claim against an insurance company or a driver who hurt you. If he takes your case, Attorney O'Leary will only get paid if you get paid; any money received will come directly from a settlement or judgment paid by the insurance company or the party that hurt you.

 Scales of Justice

FAMILY

LAW

Frequently, when parents are at odds, or when substance use or mental health issues create family discord, people who have never been to court before find themselves in the Family and Probate Court, fending off a guardianship petition, or the Juvenile Court, subject to a Care and Protection petition. Even for those lawyers with years of experience in other fields, these cases can be exceptionally challenging. As a law student, Attorney O'Leary clerked for a Juvenile Court judge, learning how judges view cases, litigants and the law. As an experienced attorney, he applies his extensive training in family law and Care and Protection litigation to your case, fighting unceasingly against the Department of Children and Families and anyone else who attempts to interfere with the bond between you and your children.
